  • Kwame Yempew is a Singer/Songwriter, guitarist and published musician and continues to perform live shows across the UK.

  • Trained as a Civil Engineer with Architecture at the University of Leeds and has a Level 4 qualification in Advice & Guidance.

  • A good communicator and has spent thirteen years giving advice and guidance on finance and welfare issues that affect students and young people and considered as an expert in this field.

  • As a student over twenty years ago, he set out to form an anti-nuclear weapons society at the University of Leeds.

  • A member of the Soka Gakkai International (SGI), to develop educational tools, promote youth involvement, and raise awareness on nuclear disarmament. The 2017 Nobel Peace Prize for their work toward the abolition of nuclear weapons was awarded to the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) of which Soka Gakkai International (SGI) is a partner.

  • In 2012, delivered a workshop on Peace and Conflict Resolution and had a conversation with Nobel Laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel.

  • Current Project: Currently writing short stories for children to inspire courage and strengthen their self esteem.
